Ultimate Tile & Stone operates as a trade-only supplier. All shipments and deliveries are made for commercial and professional use.
Shipping Methods
Due to the size, weight, and handling requirements of tile and stone products, standard courier services are rarely used.
Shipping methods may include, but are not limited to:
• Customer-arranged freight carriers
• Customer pickup or builder pickup
• Third-party freight carriers arranged by Ultimate Tile & Stone
• Job-site delivery via approved carriers
The shipping method used will depend on product type, quantity, destination, urgency, and handling requirements.
Customer-Arranged Freight and Pickups
Customers may arrange their own freight carrier or collect orders using their own vehicles or third-party agents.
When freight is arranged by the customer or when goods are picked up:
• The customer is responsible for coordinating pickup times
• Ultimate Tile & Stone is not responsible for carrier delays or handling after release
• Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon pickup or release to the carrier
Customers are responsible for ensuring that vehicles and carriers are suitable for tile and stone transport.
Freight Arranged by Ultimate Tile & Stone
Where Ultimate Tile & Stone arranges freight on behalf of the customer:
• We may source quotes from multiple carriers
• Carrier selection is based on availability, cost, transit time, and job requirements
• Freight charges will be quoted or invoiced separately unless otherwise agreed
Carrier selection does not constitute a guarantee of transit time or delivery conditions.
Delivery Times and Scheduling
All delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:
• Carrier availability
• Weather or road conditions
• Customs or terminal delays
• Job-site access restrictions
• Events outside our control
Ultimate Tile & Stone is not responsible for delays once goods have been released to a carrier.
Job-Site Deliveries
Job-site delivery is performed at the customer’s risk.
Customers are responsible for:
• Confirming site access and delivery requirements
• Ensuring safe and legal unloading conditions
• Inspecting materials immediately upon delivery
Ultimate Tile & Stone is not responsible for loss, theft, weather exposure, or damage after delivery to a job site or once materials are left unattended.
Inspection and Claims
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt or pickup.
Any visible damage, shortages, or errors must be noted at the time of delivery and reported to us within 48 hours. Claims reported after this period may not be accepted.
Freight Charges
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
• Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer
• Freight costs are non-refundable once shipment has been dispatched
• Re-delivery charges resulting from missed deliveries, site access issues, or customer delays are the responsibility of the customer
Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to the customer:
• Upon pickup by the customer or their carrier, or
• Upon delivery to the carrier arranged by Ultimate Tile & Stone
International and Special Shipments
Additional charges, duties, customs clearance, or handling fees may apply for international or special shipments. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
